Planniq ("we", "us", "our") provides booking, invoicing, and client-management software for event service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through the Planniq web and mobile apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who this applies to
This policy covers two groups of people:
Business users — the event vendors (planners, photographers, caterers, DJs, and their team members) who sign up for a Planniq account.
Clients of a business — the end customers whose booking and invoice details a business user stores in Planniq. If you're a client of a Planniq business and have questions about your data, please contact that business directly, or reach us using the details below.

How we use information
To operate core features: bookings, invoices, client records, and team management.
To process subscription and invoice payments through Razorpay.
To send booking, invoice, and payment notifications.
To maintain security — for example, monitoring failed login attempts.
To respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client or business data to serve advertising.
Third parties we share data with
Razorpay — processes subscription and invoice payments. Razorpay receives the payment amount and payer contact details necessary to complete a transaction. See Razorpay's privacy policy.
Cloud infrastructure providers (server hosting, database, file storage) — store data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations. They do not use the data for their own purposes.
We do not share client or business data with data brokers or advertising networks.
Data storage and security
All data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel.
Passwords are stored using one-way hashing — we cannot see your plaintext password.
Data is stored on servers located in accordance with our hosting provider's regional infrastructure.
Your choices and rights
Access and correction — business users can view and edit most of their data directly within the app (Profile, Clients, Team settings).
Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See our data deletion page for instructions.
Notifications — push notifications can be disabled in your device settings at any time.
Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as the account is active. If an account is deleted, associated personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial/tax records related to invoices and payments).
Children's privacy
Planniq is a business tool intended for use by adults operating a commercial event services business. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Planniq evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
